Eric Greene
Billy Bigelow
Eric Greene was born in Baltimore and attended the Juilliard School of Music in New York. He was the winner of the Leontyne Price Vocal Competition in Maryland and was also awarded the Gluck Foundation scholarship.
Eric has performed with companies such as Theatre National de l'Opera Comique, the Granada International Festival in Spain and San Francisco Opera. His roles have included Amonasro in Aida, Germont in La Traviata, Escamillo in Carmen, Sharpless in Madama Butterfly and Crown and Jake in Porgy and Bess. He recently made his UK debut as Segismundo in Birmingham Opera Company's production of Life is a Dream (2012).
Eric Greene will be alternating the role of Billy Bigelow with Michael Todd Simpson.
