Jonathan Gill
Conductor
Jonathan Gill conducted Gershwin's Of Thee I Sing (2008) and Let 'Em Eat Cake (2009) for Opera North. Most recently, he has been musical director for Andrew Lloyd Webber's UK touring production of The Sound of Music.
He has previously conducted performances of Oklahoma! (National Theatre), Matthew Bourne's The Carman (Old Vic), The Wizard of Oz (Royal Festival Hall), Company (Library Theatre, Manchester) and Carl Davis's Alice in Wonderland (West Yorkshire Playhouse/Birmingham Rep).
He has also conducted operas including The Marriage of Figaro, Così fan tutte, L'elisir d'amore, Macbeth, Aida, La bohème and Carmen for companies including English Touring Opera, Opera Holland Park and Central Festival Opera.
